Anyone who's gone through the ACL recovery process knows how difficult the road is to getting back to their pre-injury levels. And we hear this story often from many of our athletes who come to work with us in person, especially those who find us 3+ months after surgery.
We hear stories about how their physio spends little to no one-on-one time with them. And how they never felt pushed in the early stages of the ACL recovery process, doing the same cookie cutter exercises every time they went in.
This leaves them feeling "behind" in the process. Because anyone who's gone through this recovery process knows how important it is to establish range of motion and quad strength. Without these things, it's very difficult to step up the latter stages optimally.
So we decided that we'd take our approach to ACL recovery and put it into a program that's accessible to people who aren't local to us so that we can better set up athletes to succeed on their road to recovery!
So what does this program include?
- 4-6 weeks worth of programming for EACH state of the ACL recovery process
- These are the same exercises we give to our clients in person, so that you can perform exercises that our ACL experts are helping people perform every day
- Clarity on how to establish your range of motion and quad strength in the early stages of your recovery, get back into the gym with a strength training program in the middle stages as you return to running, and a good foundation for introduction to more sport specific and agility based movements in the later stage of recovery
- While the exercise programs aren't designed to take you through the ENTIRE recovery process, this gives you a blueprint for how to program so that you can add loads, change the exercises, and still have the same principles covered
